Recently, at a high school basketball game at USC’s Galen Center, Bryce James, the younger son of NBA sensation LeBron James, dazzled the crowd. With his father and family watching from courtside, Bryce filled in for Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) against Coronado (Las Vegas) during the first quarter of the Chosen1 Invitational.
After suffering a cardiac arrest five months prior, Bronny, Bryce’s elder brother, resumed playing basketball on the same court. Bronny, who recently made his USC debut, was unable to see his brother’s play because he was traveling with his team for Sunday afternoon’s game against Auburn.
Bryce James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, continues to make waves in high school basketball. Playing for Sierra Canyon, Bryce recently contributed three assists, eight points (including two three-pointers), and showcased a 45% field goal percentage in a dominating 83–55 victory over Coronado. The team’s 46-18 halftime lead set the tone for the game, and Bryce’s skills, including pocket passing and shooting, have drawn attention from college recruiters. LeBron James, proud of his son’s achievements, recently praised Bryce’s “ELITE pocket pass” on Instagram. Bryce, a junior, has received offers from Ohio State and Duquesne, with USC also showing interest.
