Kylian Mbappé, for many, is in the orbit of stars that can touch the heels of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The French champion of the 2018 World Cup in Russia is already consolidated and dreams of being the next soccer star above the top winners of the Ballon d’Or.
‘CR7’ is taking a break from the Champions League, because Juventus will not be part of the competition for up to two weeks. He attended a publicity event with Nike and left an opinion about the French attacker.
“It is the future. It is the present. He is a fantastic player, very fast”, explained Cristiano, while carrying out the promotional act.
Cristiano Ronaldo insisted that Mbappé “will be the future”.
In an interview for Gazzetta dello Sport, Mbappé explains that “I grew up with the myth of Zidane, and then I loved the great Brazilian footballers: from Pelé to Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Kaká. Another idol of mine has been Cristiano Ronaldo”.
“It is too late for me to make a career like Messi (one club man), otherwise I would have had to stay in Monaco. So, strictly speaking and without wanting to take anything away from Messi, now I must be inspired by Ronaldo’s career.”
