Neymar’s contract with PSG is valid until the summer of 2025, with a 1-year extension, but the Brazilian striker is said to be bored with the current situation of the rich French man.
According to L’Equipe, Neymar has just had a meeting with the PSG Board of Directors to express his desire to leave this summer transfer window.
On PL Brasil (via Sport), Neymar Senior, Neymar’s father, and the representative of the Brazilian superstar, denied the rumors.
“I can’t confirm a news that hasn’t happened. L’Equipe is slowly becoming L’Efake. Rumors are coming from somewhere and we have to find out the real motives of it,” his father said. Neymar confirmed.
Football España revealed that Neymar met with Barcelona President Joan Laporta over the weekend. Regarding the possibility of returning to the Blaugrana, both the Brazilian and Laporta are said to be keen to make it happen, but coach Xavi Hernandez has prevented this move.
After all, Neymar leaving PSG this summer very unlikely. At best, it would be a loan deal, and Barcelona still have some issues to deal with, especially financial ones, before considering a superstar addition like Neymar.
